Terrell Owens
Two teams are interested in acquiring Terrell Owens and the Cincinnati Bengals are one of them.
In addition to an article posted on the team’s website, Owen’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus, confirmed that the Ohio franchise has been talking with him.
Chad Ochocinco has been lobbying the team hard to bring in T.O. If the Ochocinco and Ochouno connection comes to fruition the Bengals receivers could quite literally put on the greatest show on earth—and not necessarily because of their play on the field.
“Right now I would say that everyone knows that the Cincinnati Bengals have expressed some interest in Terrell and they have spoken with him and myself,” Rosenhaus said on Sirius NFL Radio, per Mike Florio of PFT. “Where we go from here I’m not sure but I think it’s at least a positive dialogue. And we represent another great receiver on Cincinnati in Chad Ochocinco who would love to have number 81 as his teammate. And we’ll just see how that plays out. But certainly that’s something that is a possibility. I guess that’s about the most I can say right now.”
The other team rumored to be interested in T.O. is the Baltimore Ravens. However, the acquisition of Anquan Boldin may have made this a one horse race for the flamboyant receiver.
