Colts Sign Jerry Hughes to Five-year, $12M Deal

Jerry Hughes signed a five-year, $12 million deal with the Colts.

The Indianapolis Colts and first-round draft pick Jerry Hughes have agreed to terms on a five-year contract.

The 6-foot-2, 255-pound defensive end’s deal has a maximum value of $12 million according to Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post.

Hughes, who played his college ball at Texas Christian, will factor prominently into the Colts three defensive end formations.

He registered 26.5 sacks during his collegiate career.
