Indianapolis Colts cornerback Jerraud Powers is unlikely to play in Sunday’s AFC Championship game against the New York Jets.
The team downgraded his status to doubtful on Saturday due to a persistent left foot injury.
Powers, who started 13 games for the Colts this season, was unable to practice this week.
Coach Jim Caldwell stated that rookie Jacob Lacey will start in his place if he is unable to go.
