The Indianapolis Colts were burned by the absence Jerraud Powers on the Jets’ first offensive play of the second quarter.

Rookie quarterback Mark Sanchez hit Braylon Edwards for an 80-yard touchdown pass passed rookie cornerback Jacob Lacey.

Lacey is starting in place of Powers who is inactive for the game due to a foot injury.

The touchdown pass was the longest postseason play in Jets history and the longest past in Sanchez’s young career.
