The Washington Redskins lost the race to sign free agent left tackle Chad Clifton. Instead, Clifton re-signed with the Green Bay Packers for a hefty sum.

Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Clifton signed a three-year $20 million contract with $7.5 million of it guaranteed.

Washington’s offensive line is in need of a total overhaul and they know it.

They are now pursuing San Francisco 49ers tackle Tony Pashos who was spotted having dinner with Mike Shanahan and Chris Foerster—the team’s offensive line coach according to Jason Reid of the Washington Post.

Pashos was at Redskins Park with Clifton on Friday, but neither man signed a contract before leaving. Well, maybe Clifton did… just for the Packers.
