Bengals LB Rashad Jeanty Fractures Tibia vs Jets, Season Over

Rashad Jeanty

Rashad Jeanty

Cincinnati Bengals starting linebacker Rashad Jeanty was injured on the opening kickoff during Sunday’s playoff game against the New York Jets. Unfortunately for him, the injury is a season ending one at the very least.

Jeanty suffered a fractured tibia, which could keep him sidelined for some time before he can even begin to rehab the leg.

A fractured tibial mid-bone generally takes three to four months to heal completely.

Ironically, Jeanty was the replacement for Rey Maualuga who is currently on IR.

Brandon Johnson entered the game for the Bengals to fill the void.
