Pacman Jones may be back in the NFL as a Cincinnati Bengal.
The Bengals are expected to sign cornerback Adam “Pacman” Jones after working him out earlier today, according to NFL.com.
Jones hasn’t played since 2008 with Dallas and was just cleared by the NFL to sign a contract with any team.
Jones would be the latest player who has a troubled history to have been given a second chance by the Bengals(such as Tank Johnson and the late Chris Henry).
Pacman was suspended for the entire 2007 season for a variety of legal infractions including an infamous shooting at a strip club in Las Vegas in which an individual was paralyzed. Jones was there with rapper Nelly, and allegedly assaulted a dancer. A riot subsequently ensued, and a member of his entourage fired into the crowd hitting a bouncer. Jones was charged with felony coercion and plead guilty to disorderly conduct.
He was suspended for part of the 2008 season and then reinstated to the Dallas Cowboys.
