Terrance Copper
The Kansas City Chiefs re-signed wide receiver Terrance Copper on Saturday.
Copper, a six-year veteran of the NFL, saw action in 15 games with the Chiefs last season. He amassed just four catches for 68 yards.
Copper’s most productive seasons came in 2006 and 2007 while with the New Orleans Saints. Over the course of those two seasons he hauled in 38 passes for 511 yards and five touchdowns. He also added another score on a rushing play.
The team made a play for Anquan Boldin on Friday, trying to work out a trade with the Arizona Cardinals, but were unsuccessful.
