The Kansas City Chiefs are on the hunt for offensive lineman and turned to a former Super Bowl player for help.

The team worked out former Indianapolis Colts guard Ryan Lilja on Monday.

The 6-foot-2, 290 pound lineman was released by the AFC Champions on March 8 after failing a physical.

He missed all of the 2008 season due to knee surgeries. The bum knees likely played a large part in the failed physical.

Lilja started all 16 games for the Colts last season and got the nod in the Super Bowl.

Critics believe his run blocking skills are his biggest weakness.
