The Kansas City Chiefs are interesting in bringing in former Cleveland Browns coach Romeo Crennel next season.

According to a report by ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the team wanted to bring him in last season, but he was unable to accept due to hip surgery which sidelined him for 2009.

There are rumblings that he is being sought to take over as the team’s defensive coordinator and that Clancy Pendergast is on his way out.

Former Notre Dame coach Charlie Weis’ name has also surfaced in KC to help with their offense.
