The Kansas City Chiefs will have a familiar face on their offensive line next season.

The team announced they signed free agent center Casey Wiegmann on Friday.

A 14-year veteran of the NFL, Wiegmann played with the Chiefs for seven season before heading to the Denver Broncos for the past two years.

The 2008 Pro Bowl center visited the Washington Redskins last weekend, but eventually came home to KC.

Adam Caplan reports that it is a one-year, $2 million deal.

He is known as an iron man on the line. According to a team press release the veteran has started 143 consecutive games dating back to 2001. During that time he has taken 9,078 consecutive snaps.

Wiegmann is married to Survivor: Guatemala contestant Danni Boatwright.
