Vincent Jackson
It was a tough weekend for NFL players behind the wheel. San Diego Chargers wide receiver Vincent Jackson was stopped by police just hours before the team’s playoff game against the New York Jets on Sunday.
Police pulled Jackson’s vehicle over because he was playing his music too loud according to San Diego’s 10News.
Officers then learned that his tags were expired and that he was driving on a suspended license, which is only a misdemeanor in the state of California.
According to the report, Jackson was handcuffed for a short period of time. However, officers decided to issue him a citation and released him.
He was given a ride to the game by Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers.
A separate DUI case against Jackson is currently pending. If convicted he could face a suspension from the NFL.
