The San Diego Chargers trimmed their roster to 75 by releasing four players and placing linebacker Donald Butler on injured-reserve, according to Chris Jenkins of the San Diego Union-Tribune.
Butler, the Chargers’ third-round draft choice, had been out with an Achilles injury.
Wide receiver Gary Banks, running back Marcus mason, linebacker Darry Beckwith and offensive lineman Lee Grimes were released Tuesday.
The Chargers signed former Saint and Redskin, Punter Glenn Pakulak.
San Diego must cut their roster to 53 before the N.F.L mandated Saturday deadline.
