Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner left Saturday’s playoff game against the New Orleans Saints with a chest injury and is questionable to return.

Warner was blindsided by Saints defensive end Bobby McCray after throwing an interception. He was running to try to make the tackle at the time.

After heading to the sidelines, he was evaluated by Arizona’s training staff and then began talking to his offense. Shortly thereafter he headed to the locker room.

Matt Leinart warmed up on the sideline and entered the game, marking the first time that he and fellow USC stand-out Reggie Bush faced each other in the NFL.

It has been an injury plagued game for the Cardinals who previously lost cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie and safety Antrel Rolle.

UPDATE: Warner returned to the game in the third quarter.
