Tampa Bay Buccaneers safety Jermaine Phillips was arrested Sunday on felony domestic battery charges.
The official charge as listed by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is domestic battery by strangulation.
Phillips was taken into custody at 4:50 a.m. Sunday morning.
He is currently being held without bond. No further details are available at this time.
Phillips finished the season with 11 tackles in just two games.
