Buccaneers and Gerald McCoy Could Have Deal Today

Gerald McCoy

Gerald McCoy could have a deal in place with the Buccaneers soon.

With Sam Bradford’s deal in place with the St. Louis Rams, the remaining unsigned first-round draft picks could soon be under contract.

Among the first to get a deal done should be Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ rookie Gerald McCoy.

McCoy, the third overall pick in the draft, and the Bucs are getting close on their deal according to Jay Glazer of FOX Sports. The two sides should get the contract done on Saturday.

“You don’t want to do your deal first and his contract is way higher than yours,” McCoy said of Sam Bradford recently, per the Oklahoman.

The pair were teammate in college at Oklahoma.
