Shaun Suisham
After bouncing around the NFC East last season, Shaun Suisham has a chance to take over kicking duties with the Cleveland Browns.
The team signed the former Washington Redskins and Dallas Cowboys kicker on Tuesday as they harbor concerns about the future of Phil Dawson.
Dawson, who has kicked for the Browns for the past 11 seasons, has been absent from the voluntary OTAs thus far.
There is speculation that he could be holding out for a larger contract, which prompted the team to sign the veteran Suisham.
The 28-year-old Suisham successfully connected on 20 of his 24 kicking attempts last season while splitting time with the Redskins and Cowboys.
Comparatively, the 35-year-old Dawson successfully connected on 17 of his 19 attempts.
In a related move, the Browns cut kicker Leigh Tiffin, whom they signed just one day earlier, to make room for Suisham.
