Josh Cribbs
Rumors are flying that the Cleveland Browns and Josh Cribbs have finally come to terms on a new deal.
The Pro Bowl receiver / return man will hold a press conference on Friday in conjunction with the 2010 Cleveland Auto Show where he will either announce the new deal or what his plans are for the future.
“It’s not very often that fans get to hear an announcement from a player in person. And, it’s even more unlikely that they’re given a chance to speak to that player right after that announcement has been made,” Cribbs said in a statement, per the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
The two sides are reportedly “very close” to completing the new deal with the only snag being guaranteed money.
It’s important to note that nothing is confirmed as of yet. And it’s ain’t over until it’s over.
Still, Cleveland fans should be optimistic that the Browns have finally paid the man.
