The Denver Broncos paid four players sizable roster bonuses this week including one to cornerback Champ Bailey.

The team paid Bailey a $3 million roster bonus on Tuesday as he enters the final season of his seven-year contract with the team.

In total the talented CB will earn $13 million next season with $3.5 million in bonuses and a base salary of $9.5 million.

Despite paying out a huge bonus to keep him around this season, the Broncos have yet to open contract extension talks with Bailey who came to the team via a blockbuster trade with the Washington Redskins in 2004 that sent Clinton Portis to the nation’s capital.

Asked whether he’ll be with the Broncos in 2011 Bailey said, “We’ll see. If not, I’ll still be paid a lot of money this year.”

The team also paid roster bonuses to running back Knowshon Moreno ($3.775 million), linebacker D.J. Williams ($3 million) and wide receiver Brandon Stokely ($500,000) according to Mike Klis of the Denver Post.
