Brees Finds End Zone, Saints Up 24-17 at Super Bowl XLIV

A two-yard touchdown pass from Drew Brees to Jeremy Shockey gave the New Orleans Saints the lead once against at Super Bowl XLIV in the fourth quarter.

The nine-play 59-yard scoring drive was set up by a missed Matt Stover field goal which gave New Orleans the ball in good field position.

Brees also tied Tom Brady’s Super Bowl pass completion record in the Super Bowl with 32 on the toss.

The ensuing two-point conversion attempt to Lance Moore was initially ruled incomplete, but was challenged by Sean Payton and overturned.

New Orleans is up 24-17 over the Indianapolis Colts.
