Defensive end Tyler Brayton will be back with the Carolina Panthers next season.

Brayton, who has started on the Panthers’ d-line since joining the team in 2008, agreed to three-year deal according to Adam Caplan of Scout.com.

He tested the free agency waters by visiting the Seattle Seahwaks and having conversations with the Oakland Raiders and Jacksonville Jaguars earlier in the month, but nothing came of it.

The 30-year-old recorded 45 tackles in 2009— good for eight on the team. He added five sacks.
