Bengals’ Marvin Lewis Named 2010 NFL Coach of the Year

Cincinnati Bengals Head Coach Marvin Lewis was named the 2010 Coach of the Year by the Associated Press.

After finishing 2008 4-11-1, Lewis lead the Bengals to a 10-6 record, 6-0 in division and an AFC North title.

The Bengals’ season ended last week with a Wild Card loss to the New York Jets. The Jets will take on the San Diego Chargers in the AFC Divisional round on Sunday.

Lewis received 20.5 of 50 total votes for AP Coach of the Year. Sean Payton and Norv Turner finished in 2nd and 3rd place, respectively.
