Gibril Wilson may have been lost for the season with ACL and MCL tears

The Cincinnati Bengals may have escaped Friday night’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles with a win, but the did not escape without injury.

Safety Gibril Wilson is believed to be lost for the year after suffering “major knee damage” late in the second quarter according to the team’s website.

The 28-year-old was seen leaving the locker room on crutches.

His agent Alvin Keels tweeted, ““ACL/MCL for Gibril Wilson what a bummer. I felt he would really contribute this year. He will bounce back.”

Tears in both ligaments will likely require surgery.
