Sunday will be an off day for talks between the Cincinnati Bengals and wide receiver Terrell Owens.
According to Mike Florio of PFT, the pace of contract talks could intensify on Monday. Meanwhile, quarterback Carson Palmer has joined Chad Ochocinco on the T.O. bandwagon.
“His past doesn’t bother me at all,” Palmer texted Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com. “If any qb can deal with extravagant wrs, it’s me.”
Coming Out of Retirement
In other Bengals news, two former players are considering coming out of retirement.
Per Rotoworld.com, running back Rudi Johnson and offensive tackle Willie Anderson want to return to the NFL after missing the 2009 season.
Johnson, 30, is willing to set up workouts for interested teams.
It will be interesting to see if anyone will sign Willie. As for Johnson, I doubt anyone will be interested
