NBA coach Phil Jackson is the highest paid head coach of any professional sport in America, but a couple of NFL coaches aren’t far behind.

In fact, NFL coaches hold four of the top ten spots according to Forbes Magazine. The other six spots belong to coaches in the NBA, leaving MLB managers and NHL coaches scratching their heads.

As it turns out, Bill Belichick of the New England Patriots has the highest salary among NFL coaches, earning $7.5 million per year.

Newly hired Washington Redskins coach Mike Shanahan commands $7 million annually, as does Pete Carroll of the Seattle Seahawks.

The Tennessee Titans pay Jeff Fisher $5.75 million per season, which puts him ninth on the list.
