Bears head coach Lovie Smith finally found someone to say 'yes.'

The Chicago Bears finally found a quarterback to join their roster for the short-term or otherwise.

The Bears signed former New England Patriots and Kansas City Chiefs third-string QB Matt Gutierrez on Wednesday.

The team was previously turned down by more well known veterans Trent Green, Damon Huard, Todd Collins and Josh McCown.

Gutierrez is a long-shot to play this weekend against the Oakland Raiders, but don’t rule it out.

“We have a plan in place for our quarterbacks to play this week,” Bears head coach Love Smith said per the Southtown Star. “We feel good about that. We always keep all our options open. I’m not trying to run around it, but when I have something to tell you, we’ll let you know then.”
