Baltimore Ravens Sign CB Walt Harris

Walt Harris

Walt Harris agreed to a one-year deal with the Baltimore Ravens.

The Baltimore Ravens and CB Walt Harris agreed to terms on a one-year contract Thursday after impressing coaches during a workout with the team last week.

The 13-year NFL veteran missed the 2009 NFL season after sustaining an injury during the San Francisco 49ers’ offseason workouts.

He was selected to the Pro Bowl in 2006.

His career includes stops with the Chicago Bears, where he was a first-round draft pick in 1996, the Indianapolis Colts, Washington Redskins, 49ers and now Ravens.

Harris becomes the third veteran to join the team in recent days. Quarterback Marc Bulger was signed on Wednesday while safety Ken Hamlin was signed earlier in the week.
