The Associated Press is reporting that a Washington Redskins team official has informed them that Jim Zorn will be fired on Monday.

Meanwhile, Zorn told Fox Sports that he expects to know about his future on Sunday night following the team’s final game of the season or tomorrow back at Redskins Park in Ashburn, VA at the latest. He does not expect for team owner Daniel Snyder to prolong the decision.

Most interestingly, Zorn said that he has heard ALL of the rumors about his future.

Speaking of rumors, all of them continue to point at Mike Shanahan being the next head coach of the team.

However, the team will have to re-interview Jerry Gray and Greg Blache for the soon-to-be-vacant head coaching position to once again satisfy the NFL’s Rooney Rule.
