As though last night’s thrashing wasn’t bad enough, several Colts players are now nursing injuries.
During Thursdays 59-24 loss middle linebacker Gary Brackett left the game with an injury to his right hand, running back Joseph Addai and cornerback Jacob Lacey suffered brain injuries in the form of concussions, offensive tackle Tony Ugoh injured one of his toes, and defensive tackle Antonio Johnson was listed with a groin injury. The severity of all of the injuries is not yet known, but in pre-season games the “real winners” are sometimes determined not by how many points they score, but by how many players are hurt. The Colts, unfortunately, lost the game in more ways than one.
