Giants vs. Cowboys Injury Report: Coughlin’s Squad Banged Up

When the 2010 NFL schedule came out a lot of people circled the Week 10 matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants. Certainly it was going to be a game between two teams battling for the top spot in the NFC East.

It didn’t quite turn out that way. Instead of a battle for first place, it’s a battle of polar opposites.

Ironically, the Giants are getting a taste of the Cowboys’ injury woes having lost wide receiver Steve Smith for the foreseeable future due to a torn pectoral muscle. Smith’s absence alone isn’t likely to be enough to make the Giants vulnerable.

However, when coupled with a banged up offensive line the G-Men could have trouble moving the ball, giving the Cowboys a chance to stay competitive.

Here’s a look at the full injury report for both teams.

Dallas Cowboys

Out: DE Jason Hatcher (groin), DE Sean Lissemore (ankle) and QB Tony Romo (left shoulder).

Probable: G Montrae Holland (groin), LB Bradie James (knee), CB Terence Newman (ribs) and LB Anthony Spencer (neck).

New York Giants
