Atlanta Falcons Owner & CEO Arthur Blank has announced that former NFL great Warrick Dunn is now a minority owner of the franchise. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
“During his tenure with the Falcons and throughout his NFL career, Warrick represented the highest of NFL standards on and off the field,” said the Falcons’ Blank. “Warrick has a special affinity for the Falcons, as we do for him, and we are very happy he will be back in the Falcons family representing our club as a limited partner.”
Drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 12th overall in the 1997 NFL Draft, Dunn went to three Pro Bowls and was awarded the 1997 NFL Rookie of the Year award. He played his college football at Florida State University.
Dunn played for the Atlanta Falcons from ‘02-’07, between stints in Tampa bay.
