Struggling Mason Crosby to Remain Packers Kicker

The Green Bay Packers are standing behind Mason Crosby as their kicker.

After missing field goals in seven of the last eight games he’s had an attempt, Crosby has been drawing criticism from the media and fans for his lackluster performance.

Crosby, unlike Dallas Cowboys kicker Nick Folk, can rest easy though.

“Mason Crosby’s our kicker,” Packers coach Mike McCarthy told reporters Monday per the Green Bay Press Gazette. “He will be our kicker going forward. Zero interest in bringing in a kicker.”

Despite missing a 34-yarder Sunday in Pittsburgh, McCarthy “fully anticipates” that Crosby will be able to fix his current problem.
