Stafford Aggravates Injured Shoulder in Lions Loss

Detroit Lions rookie QB Matthew Stafford was planted on his bad shoulder during Sunday’s 23-13 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.

Following the game, Stafford stated it felt about the same as it did when he initially injured the shoulder on November 22nd against the Cleveland Browns. When asked if he thought he needed some time to rest the shoulder, Stafford stated that it’s something that he needed to think about and that there was a possibility he would not play next week.

Stafford finished the day with 143 yards passing on 11 for 26 passing with 1 touchdown and 2 interceptions.
