It’s not just Rex Ryan who is optimistic about Mark Sanchez’s knee injury.
Mark, himself, is hopeful to be able to play next week when the team travels to Tampa to face the Buccaneers.
“I’m optimistic,” Sanchez said after the game. “I’ll do everything I can to play next week. I don’t know if that’s going to happen, but that’s the way I like to think.”
Sanchez will likely undergo an MRI on Monday to be certain that it is just a sprain.
