Detroit Lions rookie tight end, Brandon Pettrigrew, will miss the remainder of the season after severely injuring his right knee during Thursday’s loss to the Green Bay Packers.
Pettigrew, the 20th overall pick in the 2009 draft out of Oklahoma State, racked up 30 catches, 346 yards and 2 TDs in his rookie campaign.
Casey Fitzsimmons will take over the starting tight end position for the Lions.
