Report: Holmgren More Than 50 Percent Likely to Replace Mangini

Eric Mangini has less than than a 50 percent chance of coaching the Cleveland Browns next season according to Jay Glazer of FOX Sports.

However, Glazer’s report contradicts a report from Adam Schefter that stated Mike Holmgren is hesitant to replace a coach after just one season on the job.

Still, Glazer insists that Holmgren wants a coach geared towards offense and Mangini has a primarily defensive background.

“I can’t see those guys matching,” Glazer said on FOX NFL Pregame.

Current Washington Redskins coach Jim Zorn’s name has surfaced among early candidates to take over in Cleveland next season should Mangini be shown the door.
