An ugly game between the New York Giants and Washington Redskins got even uglier at the start of the fourth quarter when violence erupted between the two teams.

A brawl broke out after DeAngelo Hall and Brandon Jacobs go into it on a busted play.

Players from both teams got together and it appeared to be Jacobs who threw the first punch to incite the brawl.

Big defensive lineman Albert Haynesworth then got into the mix and landed a strong right hand on Jacobs, which drew the only flag on the play.

He continued to throw punches wildly before the fight was stopped.

No players were ejected and Haynesworth was the only player assessed a penalty. The officials ignored or didn’t see Jacobs throw punches.

The league will certainly review the incident and fines are likely to be handed out.
