Baltimore Ravens QB Troy Smith is requesting to be traded from the team.

Smith’s agent, Ralph Cindrich, notified the media that his client would seek a trade after the season via his Twitter account on Monday.

“Ravens QB Troy Smith, Ohio State alum, native + Heisman winner wants playing time. Ravens notified. Will seek trade after play offs, SB run,” Cindrich wrote on the micro-blogging site.

Despite showing promise at times in the preseason, Smith has been relegated to backup duty behind starter Joe Flacco.

Smith has appeared in four games this season, completing five of nine passes for 24 yards and one interception.

He found the end zone on the ground in a blowout game against the Detroit Lions earlier this season.
