Raiders Coach Tom Cable has chosen QB Charlie Frye over JaMarcus Russell for this week in Denver.
Raiders coach Tom Cable said in a conference call with Denver media on Wednesday that Russell will be his No. 2 quarterback, with the newly signed J.P. Losman third.
What does Frye’s promotion mean for Russell, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2007 draft? “It means he continues to develop,” Cable said according to AP.
