The New England Patriots held on to defeat the Buffalo Bills 17-10 Sunday at Ralph Wilson Stadium.

Tom Brady had a bit of an off day by his standards, completing 11 of 23 passes for 115 yards, one touchdown and one interception.

Laurence Maroney had his fair share of carries with 23 touches for 81 yards and one score.

Randy Moss quieted critics who said he quit on the team last Sunday by turning in a strong performance. Moss caught five passes for 70 yards and one touchdown.

On paper, Bills quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick had a better day than Brady, completing 17 of 25 passes for 178 yards, one touchdown and an interception.

He was yanked in favor of Trent Edwards who was subsequently injured.

Fred Jackson carried the ball 15 times for 80 yards for the Bills.

The Patriots improve to 9-5 on the season and retain the lead in the AFC East with two to play.
