Panthers Looking to Stay with Fox, Hurney

The Carolina Panthers look likely to stick with Head Coach John Fox and General Manager Marty Hurney in 2010.

According to the Charlotte Observer, Panthers owner Jerry Richardson has “offered the opportunity” to Fox and Hurney to continue to keep their job with the team in ’10.

Fox, who is slotted to earn over $6M next season, will not be offered an extension.

The injury-riddled Panthers, now out of playoff contention with a 7-8 record, will wrap up by hosting the New Orleans Saints in week 17.
