The New York Giants are fighting for their playoff lives, but you wouldn’t know it by the way they played in the first half against the Carolina Panthers.

At the half, the Giants trail the Carolina Panthers 24-0, bringing out the boo birds in full force in their final game ever at Giants Stadium.

Eli Manning was 13 of 20 passing the ball for 126 yards and one interception.

The real story of the game, however, is the rushing game for New York which has only 17 yards through the first 30 minutes of football.

For the Panthers, quarterback Matt Moore is making a name for himself as a potential starter next season throwing two touchdowns and 118 yards on 11 of 16 passing in the first half.

Moore is filling in for Jake Delhomme who landed on injured reserve.

Jonathan Stewart carried the ball 14 times for 74 yards and a touchdown in the first two quarters.

A loss coupled with a Cowboys win tonight against the Washington Redskins would eliminate the Giants from playoff contention.
