According to Panthers Head Coach John Fox, QB Jake Delhomme has a fractured finger on his right hand. Delhomme injured the finger in the 4th quarter of Sunday’s loss to the New York Jets.
It is still unknown if the long time Panthers quarterback will play next week against Tampa Bay. Should Delhomme not play, Matt Moore would get the start for the struggling Panthers.
Delhomme is in the midst of arguably the worst season of his career. Through 12 games thus far this season Delhomme has thrown 18 interceptions and has a passer rating of 59.4.
