Chad Ochocino
Chad Ochocinco wore a Chris Henry jersey during the Cincinnati Bengals practice on Thursday.
It was a touching tribute to a man whom Ochocinco referred to as a “very good friend” while holding back tears in the locker room.
Ochocinco wanted to take his tribute one step further by wearing Henry’s jersey during the team’s game on Sunday against the San Diego Chargers.
However, the Bengals informed him that he would be unable to do so according to C. Trent Rosencrans of CNati.com.
On a personal note, I must say that is one classy move on Chad’s part.
Hopefully people will keep that in mind the next time he wears a sombrero, dances with cheerleaders or otherwise celebrates in a way only he can.
Updated: Ochocinco stated Thursday night that he will wear Chris Henry’s jersey despite the objections from the league. (more)
