Tony Dungy
Tony Dungy was contacted by an NFL team on Thursday about taking over as head coach, but isn’t saying which team it was.
During a Friday morning appearance on The Dan Patrick Show the ex-Buccaneers and Colts coach dropped that little nugget, but added that the Buffalo Bills were not the team that contacted him.
Other possibilities include the Washington Redskins and Kansas City Chiefs among others.
In the past Dungy has stated time and again that he is not interested in returning to coaching.
Interestingly, he volunteered that he was not contacted “directly” by Notre Dame. PFT wonders if he was “indirectly” contacted by the university.
