After Santa Clara proposed a 68,500 stadium for the 49ers, the city of San Francisco have one of their own according to the Silicon Valley/ San Jose Business Journal.
San Francisco has a proposal for a 69,ooo seat stadium in the Candlestick Park/Hunters Point Shipyard project. Renderings for the project were made public Thursday.
Carmen Policy, former 49er president and supporter of keeping the National Football League team in San Francisco, described the potential stadium as being situated in what could be “the most stunning NFL venue in the country.”
