New York Jets QB Mark Sanchez should be back under center next Sunday when the team hosts the Atlanta Falcons.
Jets coach Rex Ryan said that he expects Sanchez will be able to play next week, but backed it up by saying he wasn’t 100% sure.
The players, however, are a bit more optimistic. The general consensus in the locker room is that he will be back next week according to the NY Daily News.
The Jets rolled over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Sunday with Kellen Clemens filling in at QB.
Clemens threw for 111 yards and 23 completions in the game.
