Jets Pick Off Delhomme Four Times In Win Over Panthers

The defense of the New York Jets guided the team to a 17-6 victory over the Carolina Panthers on Sunday.

Darrelle Revis and Kerry Rhodes each had two interceptions for the Jets.

Thomas Jones led the way for New York rushers with 75 yards on 25 carries and a touchdown.

Neither team’s passing game was particularly effective, with both quarterbacks being shut out of the end zone.

Panthers QB Jake Delhomme had a game that he would rather forget.

Delhomme completed just 13 of 33 passing attempts, was picked off four times and only threw for 126 yards.

Jets QB Mark Sanchez was shaken up briefly in the third quarter, but came back to finish the game.

Sanchez went 13 for 17, with 154 yards and one interception in the game.
