Jason Campbell “Blacks Out” on Final Play of Game for Redskins

Sunday’s loss to the Philadelphia Eagles could have prove costly for the Washington Redskins.

Jason Campbell may be the latest NFL player to suffer a concussion.

Campbell was strongly thrown to the ground on final offensive play of the game for the Redskins. He remained down for some time.

The former Auburn QB talked about the play on the Redskins Postgame Show on Comcast Sportsnet.

“I tried to hurry up and give it to Santana (Moss) and the guy actually threw me on top of my head,” he said.

“And when he slammed me down on my head everything blacked out, my left arm was numb and I had the breath knocked out of me.”

Campbell also stated, somewhat jokingly, that a flag would have been thrown if he were Tom Brady.
