The New York Giants dominated the Washington Redskins on both sides of the ball in the first half and took a 24-0 lead into the locker room.

Bruce Allen’s coming out party as the Redskins’ new G.M. is not turning out to be a very fun one for him.

Washington’s offense only had control of the ball for a shade over eight minutes in the first half. Worse, the offense only managed to post 78 yards. Worse yet, they didn’t get a first down until 3:30 left in the first half on a Jason Campbell 16-yard scramble from a busted pass play. Worse yet yet, Campbell was injured with less than a minute to go in the second quarter. Worse yet yet yet, the Redskins have more penalties than first downs. And worse yet to the fourth power, the fake field goal attempt at the end of the first half was as ugly as they come.

Better… Todd Collins came in an completed a 46-yard bomb to Santana Moss on his first play. He followed that up with a bullet to TE Fred Davis who could not hang on to a sure touchdown pass.

It’s a tale of two sidelines as the Giants offense has pretty much scored at will on the Redskins.

Eli Manning is 14 of 21 passing for 172 yards passing with one touchdown.

Brandon Jacobs carried the ball 12 times for 45 yards, while Ahmad Bradshaw got seven touches for 26 yards and two touchdowns.

On a quick injury note, Giants left guard Rich Seubert left the game with a knee injury and was replaced by Kevin Boothe.

Also, Giants kicker Laurence Tynes has a strained right hamstring.
